A Peek at Our Week

So let me tell you about our week. I almost died! No just kidding, I thought I was going to though. I had an allergy attack and luckily my Mom called, came and got me, and was driving me to the hospital. She decided on our way to the hospital that we should go to my allergen instead of a long day at the hospital if we could avoid it. Luckily the allergen had some medicine he gave me to help my body chill out, and now I am on 4 different meds until this freeky allergic reaction decides to subside. You just never know when someone will be inspired to come take care of you! Thanks-Mom:) Oh and I have 1 chapter left in Breaking Dawn, so good.

Chris is busy with work and lots of it. That's a good thing. He steals my landrover when ever he needs to go somewhere, he just loves it and so do I. Chris was part of a mock disaster our city put on. He is a disaster captain for our neighborhood, how cool is that. All went well even though our next door neighbors house mock burned down. Chris and I went shopping for our fall attires, and had soo much fun together. Watch out guys Chris has it goin on. Thanks Jeni for BBsitting!!!!

Taylor is doing pretty good in school. She is loving learning her new dance for the Nutcracker. I went with her to her costume fitting on Friday and it was so cute. We're getting excited for that. She is just such a wild crazy cuttie pie!

Brooke had a friend come and spend the day on Friday. Lexi is her new BFF from Kindergarten. We played and took a trip to McDonalds, they were on cloud 9. Brooke is getting very good at drawing. Her new favorite thing to draw is Peony's. That is a favorite flower of mine, Chris gave me some for our anniversary, and Brooke has been obsessed with them ever since. She is also enjoying ballet.

Presley is just so cute. She is staying so tiny and petite. It helps me hold on to the baby a little longer. She is quite stubborn, she will not do anything unless it is her idea. This has made life interesting, especially when we are in a hurry and she refuses to cooperate. I am late a lot. She is asking a lot of questions too, like "Mom where do snakes live, what color are they, where do giraffes live, were do zebras live, where....." It's really cute and I'm just glad the questions are easy! They do get harder! The other day two grasshoppers were mating and the neighbor girls said to Brooke "They're mating!" Brooke asked me what mating meant. I just told her it means they love each other:)

and that's a peek at our week

Halloween is in the air!

We are getting ready for HALLOWEEN! Halloween is my favorite holiday. We are all very excited! We are getting ready to decorate on October 1st no sooner or later!!! Hope you are all enjoying fall as much as me!

Our Girls

We have three beautiful daughters.
Taylor Michelle Mayfield is 9.
Brookelle Ashley Mayfield is 5.
Presley Kate Mayfield is 3.
Each of them was born a different way, a different hospital, and they are all unique. Taylor was a traditional delivery everything went well and she was born at Lakeview Hospital and weighed 7'1 oz 20 inches. Brooke was breach and therefore born via csection at LDS Hospital weighing 6'11 oz 19 inches. Presley was born VBAC at Mckay Dee Hospital weighing 7'4 oz 19 inches. So I have experienced all three types of birth. It's been interesting.
Taylor enjoys drawing, art, reading, riding her bike, playing with friends, and ballet.
Brooke enjoys coloring, jumping on the trampoline, cuddling with her favorite blankie "pink," playing with friends, buying toys, movies, and ballet.
Presley enjoys coloring, singing, barbies, lipstick, dancing, music, and milk.

Something I learned Today

Ok, what are we taught ever since we are born? To do things right! Right? Well I was taught that. Obey Mom and Dad, Get good grades, keep the commandments, read your scriptures, try not to make mistakes, be nice to others, be a good example to your siblings, be honest, keep your house clean, get your oil changed, get food storage, serve your neighbor, visit the sick, don't get into debt, da da da da da. So is it any wonder I am a perfectionist. I think deep down I have always known this, but this week I have began a journey to embraced it. You just can't be perfect, it will never happen in this lifetime. So what do you do? Do your best, it's all you can do. And if we never make a mistake what is the point of life? We learn very best from screwing things up and learning never to do it again. And how to do it better next time. We can't do it all or have it all, but we can be happy with what we do and what we have. This is just a little inspiration I received this week, so I thought I would share it.
